Munduk Villas Estate – The Deep oversized plush sofas, velvet lounge chairs, cushy daybeds, elegant indoor dining, relaxed outdoor dining, and porch swing ensure a spacious, luxurious and simply dreamy experience. The fine touches and intricate details throughout Munduk Mountain Estate, put this stunning home in a league of its own for comfort and style. Designed by a French Architect who has made his home in Bali for the past 25 years, the home features modern European design in a cozy mountain lodge feel. A modern home that is rustic in style, with Balinese and Indonesian touches throughout. The design seamlessly blends in with the natural beauty of Munduk.
All four bedrooms feature custom made furniture from locally sourced wood, and include plush soft furnishings as well as carvings, sculptures and art from Indonesian craftsmen and artists.
The Master Suite is situated on the far side of the estate, wrapped by forest and mountains, with windows on one side, and large double doors at the front of the room.
The Suite – Situated next to the master suite, with a king size bed, armchair and bench. The large double doors opening to the epic view in front. With an ensuite bathroom complete with shower.
The Bunk Bedroom – Specially designed and created for the estate, the unique four adult sized bunk beds line one side of the large 3rd bedroom. There are an additional 2 slide out beds
Newly renovated, the 4th bedroom sits alone underneath the main estate. With access outside via the surrounding terrace. With its own ensuite bathroom
The Media Room can be converted if required into a 5th bedroom with a double bed.
Situated in the main living space of the Estate Behind the kitchen, and with direct access to the terrace and pool, is the 3rd bathroom, with both a shower and bathtub.
The main lounge has two large seating areas. On one side in front of the fireplace you have a mammoth L shaped sofa perfect for gathering around the fireplace with wine and cheese on a misty Munduk night.
The glass doors in the front of the living space can be fully opened for the mountain air or it can be completely enclosed without compromising the view if you prefer.
Located off the main lounge area, the media room has a wall to wall enormous daybed/sofa. This room can also be used as a fourth bedroom if it is required and can easily sleep two adults sharing a bed.
The high quality, fully equipped kitchen is a chef’s delight. Spacious and well facilitated if you want to get creative, or if you prefer, why not let our dedicated staff take care of you. We have created a menu full of wholesome and hearty meals to suit everyone’s tastes and requirements or for something a little more traditional we can arrange for a local cook to come and prepare for you a traditional Balinese feast, and can even show you some of the secrets to traditional Balinese cooking.
The located directly next to the kitchen is the custom made teak wood dining table with plush dining chairs comfortable seating 10 guests.
On the deck next to the lounge and fireplace is yet another large modular sofa.
Just outside the kitchen on the terrace, featuring colorful local hand painted tiles, and a gorgeous view over the pool and hot plunge, is our casual outdoor dining area with seating for 10.
Take the plunge in the infinity pool, cool off after a day exploring or just refresh yourself after a lazy day.
The perfect way to enjoy the view is with a chilled class of wine, as you luxuriate in the comforting waters of the hot plunge pool.
The ultimate in alfresco living. Gather round the warmth of the fire pit, watch the embers glow against the inky black sky, sip on hot chocolate, roast marshmallows and enjoy campfire stories with the sounds of nature surrounding you.
For safety for all the family, the main deck has a toughened glass banister running all the way along the outside, fitted with lockable safety gates, to keep the younger members of the family safe, and the estate itself can be fully enclosed to avoid, younger children wandering outside unaccompanied.
Enjoy the fresh crisp mountain air from the surrounding deck, sip local sourced coffee as you overlook the organic plantations where it grows. Enjoy a chilled glass of champagne whilst luxuriating in the open air hot plunge as you look across the expansive valley towards the ocean and Java, roast marshmallows on the fire pit, or swap stories of the day as the spectrum of orange and reds fill the sky as the sun sets over Batu Karu and the neighbouring mountains.
